As the NCWIT Communications Director, I routinely executed web content projects aimed to improve user experiences. I worked alongside developers, UX and graphic designers, evaluators, and project managers to balance compelling, on-brand visuals with strategic planning for organizational goals and objectives.

My Role

• Used keyword research data to inform recommendations to stakeholders for site architecture, heading and title tags, and on-page SEO strategies.
• Wrote, edited, and stylized short-form copy for meta descriptions and flyout menus, as well as long-form copy for pillar and supplemental cluster webpages via CMS.
• Instructed senior graphic designers in creating wireframes, CMS templates, and multimedia assets that met project specifications.
