Your care team will work together to perform this minimally invasive procedure. The procedure takes about an hour, and here’s what you can expect:

You’ll receive general anesthesia to put you to sleep.
Your care team will make a small incision through your groin.
They’ll insert a catheter through a vein and guide it to your heart.
Using advanced imaging, they’ll guide the device into place.
Once the device is positioned, they’ll remove the catheter and close the incision.
